On September 23, a ceremonial event dedicated to the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was held at the “Yyldyz” hotel in Ashgabat.

The ceremony was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Turkmenistan Said Osman Ahmed Suwaid. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations between the countries and expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the warm welcome.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov spoke on behalf of the Government of Turkmenistan. He noted the friendly nature of Turkmen-Saudi relations and prospects for further cooperation in various fields.

The guests of the event were offered dishes of national Arabic cuisine.

The festive atmosphere was complemented by performances by artists presenting traditional Arabic dances.
