A scientific and practical conference “Caspian Sea - Partnership for Sustainable Development” dedicated to the Caspian Sea Day was held today at the "Berkarar" hotel in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone.

According to the IIC, the start of the forum was preceded by an exhibition in the foyer, demonstrating the achievements of Turkmenistan in the environmental sector.

The conference participants discussed issues of international cooperation in the field of environmental protection, implementation of Turkmenistan’s legislation on the conservation of flora and fauna of the Caspian Sea and compliance with environmental standards in the activities of the Turkmenbashy International Seaport.

Within the framework of the conference, there will be a cultural event - a walk along the coast on the territory of the "Hasyl" recreation and health center, the source notes.
