1. Negotiations between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol, who arrived in the country on a state visit, ended in Ashgabat. Following the meeting in an expanded format, a signing ceremony of a package of bilateral documents took place.
2. The Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment enterprise has been founded in Turkmenistan, which will produce disposable medical products, masks, and duvet covers used every day in the healthcare sector. The new enterprise is important in increasing the production volume of drugs needed for medical institutions from local raw materials and meeting the needs of medical institutions for appropriate drugs.
3. On June 10, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting at which the progress of seasonal field work in the country was reviewed. At the meeting, reports were heard on the progress of field work from the hyakims of Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats. 6. The plane with Vice President of Malawi Saulos Klaus Chilima on board disappeared from radar screens on June 10. The aircraft took off from the capital Lilongwe and was due to fly to Mzuzu airport in the north of the country at around 10am local time. 8. Turkmen athletes won one silver and two bronze medals at the Belarusian Open Archery Cup, held in Minsk. Prizes in the team and individual competitions were competed by 129 athletes from seven countries - Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Ezizumuhammet Sahedov won silver in the individual competition. In addition, Sahedov, paired with Shohrat Jumakuliyev, became a bronze medalist in the men's team competition. The second bronze medal for the Turkmen team was won by Oksana Gataulina and Ogulsuray Kakyshova, sharing third place in the women's team competition.
