1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahalliyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and velayat hyakims, at which the progress of agricultural work in the country was reviewed. As noted, these days, in accordance with agrotechnical standards, wheat care, plowing and land leveling for cotton sowing continue in the regions of Turkmenistan.
2. The credentials from the Ambassador of Mexico to Turkmenistan, Jose Luis Martinez Hernandez, were accepted on Monday by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. During the conversation, the diplomat was familiarized with the main directions and priorities of the domestic and foreign policy of independent neutral Turkmenistan.
3. Cold weather will continue in Turkmenistan this week, with rain and snow expected in some regions. Changeable cloudy weather is expected in Ashgabat; winds from the northeast can reach a speed of 13-15 meters per second. At night frosts range from -8...-10 to -1...+1 degrees, during the day from -1...-3 to +7...+9 degrees.

On March 9, in the “Watan” cinema and concert hall, the orchestra under the direction of Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Rovshen Nepesov will once again give a concert beloved by Ashgabat residents with music from popular Turkish television series. 5. A solemn meeting of passengers of the first flight of “Turkmenistan” Airlines from Ashgabat was held at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The new route is designed to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia, and will also serve as an additional incentive for the development of trade and tourism.

8. A team of referees from Turkmenistan, led by Charymurat Kurbanov, officiated at a friendly match between the Russian “Rostov” and the Kazakh “Astana”. The meeting was held at a training camp in the UAE and ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of Valery Karpin's team. Akmurat Kurbanov and Ahmed Begnazarov served as assistants along with Ch. Kurbanov.
9. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, French striker Kylian Mbappe has reached an agreement to sign a contract with “Real Madrid” for a period of 5 years. The agreement will come into force in the summer of 2024, when Mbappe's current contract with “PSG” expires. Mbappe, 25, will join “Real Madrid” as a free agent. According to Marca, the footballer personally informed the “PSG” president of his decision to leave the team at the end of the season.
