Jordan national team players defeated the Republic of Korea team in the semi-finals of the Asian Cup. The meeting, held in Qatar, ended with a score of 2:0.

Yazan al-Namat (53rd minute) and Musa al-Tamari (66th minute) scored the winners. It was the first time the Jordanians played at this stage of the tournament.

The other semi-final will see the teams of Qatar and Iran meet. The meeting will take place on February 7 and will begin at 20:00 Ashgabat time. There will be no match for third place. The final will take place on February 10.
