Today, the grand opening of the specialized exhibition Iran Prože was held in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The extensive exposition provided an overview of the goods and services of almost 100 companies of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Large Iranian manufacturers in the fields of oil and gas, construction and roads, the automotive industry, and shipbuilding set up their stands here, informs the Turkmenportal correspondent.

One of the important sectors of the Iranian economy is the automotive industry, which is represented at the exhibition by the leading automobile manufacturer Iran Khodro Industrial (IKCO).

Directly at the exhibition, visitors can get acquainted with samples of passenger cars and inspect the showrooms.

Currently, IKCO is the largest automaker not only in Iran, but throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Every year the company produces more than 1 million vehicles: cars, buses, trucks, pickups, ranking 13th in the world.

There are also artisan stands presenting Iranian folk crafts.

There are more than two hundred famous Iranian crafts. The main crafts include: exquisite dishes made of copper and ceramics, decorated with colored enamel; hand-painted fabrics (kalyamkari), carpet weaving, glass making. There is even a special holiday in Iran - National Crafts Day.

Tomorrow, within the framework of the exhibition, a Turkmen-Iranian business forum will be held. Within the framework of the forum, a number of business events will be held to establish contacts, negotiations and exchange of experience between Iranian companies and enterprises of Turkmenistan.

Let us remind that the Iran Prože exhibition will be open today and tomorrow until 18:00, on the final day of November 19 - until 15:00.
