The economic society “Garagum” occupies one of the leading positions in the market of manufacturers and exporters of nonwoven materials and products made from them in Central Asia.

The plant, located in the Bagtyyarlyk etrap of the city of Ashgabat, annually produces about 2500 tons of non-woven material from which disposable multi-layer masks, disposable clothing and kits are made. Non-woven material is used for the manufacture of cases, bags, accessories, which are produced to individual order, in different sizes, colors and densities, with and without a logo.
The manufacturer is confident that new generation nonwoven materials not only perfectly replace expensive textiles in everyday life, but can also successfully compete with foreign products in this important sector of the economy of Turkmenistan.
Modern equipment, advanced technologies and highly qualified personnel involved in the production process permit ES “Garagum” to produce high quality products. The raw materials for the production of non-woven fabric are fiber-forming polymers, for example, polypropylene, produced in Turkmenistan. These fibers in nonwoven materials are connected to each other in a special way, without using the weaving method. This method makes it possible to obtain a fabric of a new structure, which perfectly replaces textiles and at the same time has higher properties in terms of density, strength, bending resistance, abrasion resistance, air permeability, etc.
The company's integrated management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards in the field of quality management, environmental management, health and safety, as evidenced by successfully completed certification and receipt of the corresponding Certificate. In addition, ES “Garagum” is a member of EDANA - the world's leading association of nonwoven materials manufacturers.
One of the main goals of the company is to increase production capacity, expand the range of products with full and strict quality control, which will consolidate Garagum’s position as a reliable partner in the global market.
