Football club "Merv" continues to prepare for the playoff round of the AFC Cup-2023/24 with the Tajik "Khujand". The meeting with the participation of the Turkmen team will be shown live by the Tajik sports TV channel Varzish.

The broadcast will begin on August 22 at 16:00 Ashgabat time. In Turkmenistan, numerous football fans who have IPTV will be able to watch the match live on the Varzish-Sport channel.

In the event that the regular time of the match ends in a draw, then two additional halves of 15 minutes will be assigned. If they do not reveal the strongest, the winner will be determined by 11-meter kicks in accordance with the regulations of FIFA.

The winner will get the right to play in the group stage of the tournament in the Central zone along with the clubs "Ravshan" (Tajikistan), "Altyn Asyr" (Turkmenistan) and "Abdysh-Ata" (Kyrgyzstan).

The group round of the 2023/24 AFC Cup in the Central Zone will begin on September 20 and end on December 14. Only the winner of the group will advance to the next stage of the tournament.
