Today, a new academic year has started in all educational institutions of the Balkan velayat, as well as throughout the country. In General, 11,780 students will cross the threshold of secondary schools in velayat for the first time in their lives, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports.
On this day, 285 young specialists in various academic disciplines, including primary school teachers, will begin their career in the teaching field. Much attention in the educational process will be paid to the in-depth study of foreign languages, the use of various types of technical training tools and computer technologies in the classroom.
In the 2020-2021 academic year, 205 young men and women became 1st-year students of the faculty of oil and gas industry of the Balkanabat branch of the International University of oil and gas. Such specialties as Geology, drilling of oil and gas wells, development and operation of oil and gas fields, chemical technology of oil and gas processing, construction, operation of oil and gas storage facilities, oil and gas pipelines, and others are widely popular among them.
