According to the published study of an international group of experts called "The Global Terrorism Index — 2019" (the Global Terrorism Index — GTI), Turkmenistan is recognized as the most secure country in the world, Belteleradiocompany reports.
Last year, Turkmenistan took the 138th place in the GTI rating out of 138 possible ones, sharing it with other States. These include Portugal, Croatia, Belarus, Singapore, Slovenia and a number of other countries. This means that there is almost no terrorist threat.
