The results of the presidential creative competition "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry", announced among literary, cultural and artistic figures, Amateur young singers and gifted children, will be summed up in the framework of the Week of culture, which is scheduled to be held on June 22-27 in Dashoguz velayat. This was announced at the Government meeting by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahargul Abdiyeva, who stressed that the selection round of the TV contest held within the framework of this competition is “Ýañlan, Diýarym!” it starts in July in Ashgabat and velayats.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that currently members of a specially created Commission are selecting the best works of capable and talented creative workers in the established categories of the competition, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

Emphasizing the importance of the annual creative review, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed to the need to improve the activities of cultural and media institutions, taking into account the intensification of work to identify new talents and train professional personnel.

The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to hold all the planned cultural events at a high level, so that they clearly reflect the original traditions of the Turkmen people and the energy of the modern era.

The competition for the award of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" is held "In commemoration of the 29th anniversary of the country's independence and in order to identify and select the most capable and talented creative workers".

The decree of the head of state prescribes to ensure the participation of foreign citizens who have expressed a desire to participate in the competition. The winners of this competition will be determined by the established categories. Within the framework of this competition, a TV competition for young Amateur singers was also announced: “Ýaňlan, Diýarym” and the competition among talented children "Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri".
