The amendments to the Customs code of Turkmenistan related to the provisions of the new version of the Law of Turkmenistan "On licensing of certain types of activities" came into force on April 1 of this year.
According to the new changes, the activities of a duty-free shop, customs warehouse, temporary storage warehouse and customs broker are exempt from licensing.
Also in paragraph 28 of part 1, article 5 of the Customs code, the definition of "vehicle" includes the concept of "container". Previously, "container" was used in the sense of "multi-turn container".
The customs code of Turkmenistan defines the legal, economic and organizational bases for state regulation of customs Affairs that contribute to the development of the economy of Turkmenistan and ensure its economic security.
