Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, held a telephone conversation during which they discussed the development of bilateral relations. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

Tokayev congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his birthday, wishing him good health, a long life, and success in his state activities for the benefit of the Turkmen people, and also noted his personal contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his appreciation for the warm congratulations and emphasized that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the comprehensive development of fraternal relations and the strategic partnership with Kazakhstan. High-level political dialogue, grounded in mutual respect, openness, and friendship, is the key prerequisite for deepening bilateral cooperation, he noted.

The National Leader also expressed gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for his personal contribution to strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and peoples.
