On June 25, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan between the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, J. Gurbangeldyev, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Turkmenistan, J. M. Al-Attar.

According to the ministry's website, the parties discussed developing cooperation in the educational, scientific, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

Expressing interest in expanding cooperation between educational institutions, the parties focused on the prospects for implementing joint initiatives aimed at developing academic ties, exchanging experiences, and strengthening humanitarian dialogue.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their willingness to consider new opportunities for developing cooperation in the field of education.
