Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Ashgabat Nurlan Nogayev.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during the talks, the parties discussed prospects for the further development of bilateral relations. The importance of maintaining regular contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries was particularly emphasized.

In addition, the parties discussed current issues on the regional and international agendas and emphasized the importance of mutual support for initiatives by Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan within the UN and other international platforms.
