Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree approving the procedure for holding tenders to select suppliers of goods, works, and services for the needs of the country's transport and communications ministries and agencies. The document was adopted in accordance with the Law "On Tenders for the Supply of Goods, Performance of Work, and Provision of Services for State Needs," reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Annayev reported on efforts to improve the transport and communications sector during a government meeting. He stated that the sector is consistently strengthening its material and technical infrastructure and taking steps to bring the industry's regulatory framework into line with modern requirements.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the President.

Summarizing the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the transport and communications sector is a key one and instructed Annayev to implement the signed resolution.
