During yesterday's meeting between Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Tbilisi, D. Seitmammedov, and Georgia's Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, T. Ioseliani, the two sides discussed current issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The meeting was also attended by L. Abashidze, Director General of Georgian Railway JSC, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Prospects for increasing mutual trade volumes, attracting investment, and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest were discussed.

Noting the positive dynamics of Turkmen-Georgian relations and the significant potential for mutually beneficial partnership between the business communities of the two countries, the parties focused on creating favorable conditions for the implementation of joint initiatives and strengthening direct contacts between relevant government agencies and representatives of the business communities.
The importance of further improving the legal framework for bilateral cooperation was also emphasized.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing constructive dialogue aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and promoting promising joint projects, the source noted.
