Turkmen are offered free higher education in Greece

The law firm "Vash Center," operating in Greece since 2009, offers citizens of Turkmenistan a unique opportunity to enroll in a Greek state university and receive a free higher education.

Why Greece?

Higher education at Greek public universities is free for foreign citizens. This means Turkmen students can earn a European-standard diploma without paying tuition.

Key benefits include:

  • There are no entrance exams—admission is based on the average grade point average (GPA) of the high school diploma.

  • There are no age restrictions—anyone between 18 and 54 years old can become a student.

  • All study materials are free—books and teaching aids are provided by the university.

  • No prior knowledge of the language is required. There are no Greek language requirements for admission; students are given a "language year" to study it through paid public courses.

  • Dormitory and meals are provided. Students are provided with accommodation and meals for the entire duration of their studies at the university.

Additional Opportunities for Students

Enrolling in a Greek university opens up broad opportunities for citizens of Turkmenistan:

  • Opportunity to obtain a residence permit in Greece.

  • The right to officially work part-time (4 hours).

  • Visa-free travel throughout Europe.

  • Student discounts on museum and archaeological sites, as well as a 50% discount on travel tickets.

Important requirement for submitting documents

Only those who already have an original high school diploma can apply for admission. This is a mandatory requirement for participation in the program. Without a diploma, the application process cannot begin.

If you already have a certificate, you can begin the application process right now!

Greek language proficiency is a prerequisite for free tuition.

To study at a Greek university for free, you must speak Greek. That's why the first step after admission is a language year—a mandatory preparatory stage.

The student arrives in Greece and takes an eight-month intensive Greek language course at a state-run language school. Upon completion, they reach level B2—sufficient for full-time university study. Only after successfully completing the language course do they begin their full-time studies.

So, the path to free higher education in Greece is as follows:

1. Submitting documents – through "Your Center" from Turkmenistan

2. Moving to Greece and obtaining a student visa

3. 8 months of language courses – achieving a B2 level of Greek

4. Enrolling in a faculty and beginning free studies

How to apply? "Your Center" takes care of everything

Personal presence when submitting documents to Greek universities is not required. “Vash Center” prepares and submits the complete application package.

This service package includes: professional consultation, official translation of documents into Greek, submission of documents to the Greek Ministry of Education, student visa processing, registration for language courses, and assistance throughout the entire relocation process.

“Vash Center” offers two support packages: Standard and Premium. Both packages include full admissions assistance, but differ in the scope of services.

Official Representative in Turkmenistan

For the convenience of Turkmen citizens, “Vash Center” has an official representative in the country. This means you don't need to travel to Greece or look for intermediaries—all matters related to admission, documents, and program conditions can be resolved directly in Turkmenistan, in your native language, and at a convenient time.
