Tajik performer Farrukh Khasanov has been selected to participate in the international music competition "Intervision", which will be held in Moscow on September 20. This was reported by the press service of the competition organizers.
The 25-year-old singer from Dushanbe has gained fame not only in his homeland, but also in other CIS countries. In 2019, Khasanov became a finalist in the Central Asia's Got Talent competition, and in 2023, he won the vocal show "Come on, all together!" on the “Russia-1” TV channel.
The “Intervision” final will feature representatives from 20 countries, including the BRICS, CIS, and performers from Latin America and the Middle East. Each country will independently select one artist or group to perform.
The winner of the competition will be selected by an international jury consisting of music experts from the participating countries, through voting.
