Four specialists from the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan completed an intensive training program on customs risk management at the Shanghai Customs Institute from July 1 to 14.
The training course for customs officers from Central Asian countries was organized with the support of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, as reported on the website of the customs service of Turkmenistan.
During the training, the participants became familiar with China's progressive methods for forecasting and preventing customs risks.
The practical part included a visit to strategically important facilities: an intelligent checkpoint, an automated terminal, the Asia-Pacific market, the SCO Center, manufacturing plants and logistics hubs.
Particular attention was paid to the regional exchange of experience, during which the Turkmen side made a presentation on the national risk management system, emphasizing the progress achieved in the field of digitalization and analytics.
