Eldor Shomurodov moved from "Roma" to the Turkish "Istanbul Basaksehir"

The 30-year-old striker and captain of the Uzbekistan national team Eldor Shomurodov left the Italian "Roma" and moved to the Turkish club "Istanbul Basaksehir". This was officially announced by the press services of both teams.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Uzbek forward will join the Turkish club on loan for 3 million euros with a buyout clause of 2,7 million euros. The deal also includes a 10 percent royalty on the player's subsequent sale to "Roma".

Shomurodov will sign a two-year contract with the new club with an option to extend it for another year.

In his farewell address to "Roma" fans, the footballer wrote: "Roma will always remain in my heart. Thank you for the trust and support you have always given me."
