A meeting with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Pawel Kowal was held in the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
The meeting discussed issues of exchanging experience in the legislative sphere and the widespread use of the existing potential of inter-parliamentary relations, the Mejlis website reports.
Confidence was expressed that this meeting would contribute to the further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries and their peoples.
The parties emphasized that relations between Turkmenistan and Poland are based on the principles of mutual respect, equality and trust, and noted the interest of friendly countries in expanding and strengthening cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, the source notes.
