The composition of the Turkmenistan national team for the Asian Junior Wrestling Championship in Bishkek has been determined

The composition of the Turkmenistan wrestling team for the Asian Championship among athletes under 20 years old, which will be held from July 9 to 13 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), has been announced. This was reported on the official website of the United World Wrestling (UWW).

The competition is expected to involve about 300 wrestlers in three disciplines: freestyle wrestling, women's wrestling and Greco-Roman wrestling.

Turkmenistan will be represented by 17 athletes. Nine Turkmen wrestlers will compete in freestyle wrestling in various weight categories. Among them are: Kabe Matjanov (57 kg), Azatberdy Ashyrgulyev (61 kg), Bagtyyar Annayev (65 kg), Batyr Begenjov (70 kg), Vatan Annaorazov (74 kg), Alp Arslan Begenjov (79 kg), Dovletgeldy Myradov (86 kg), Orazmuhammet Hojalyev (92 kg) and Muhammetdurdy Muhammetdurdyev (97 kg).

Turkmenistan will be represented in Greco-Roman wrestling by five athletes: Nuryagdy Dovranov (55 kg), Khusniddin Ulugbekov (60 kg), Kemal Kakabayev (63 kg), Kaka Charyev (72 kg) and Kemal Berdiliyev (77 kg).

Three athletes will compete for the Turkmenistan national team in women's wrestling: Enejan Yoldashova (68 kg), Nazik Bazarova (72 kg) and Gulnaz Bakiyeva (76 kg).

The competition will begin with Greco-Roman wrestling, followed by women's wrestling, and will conclude with a freestyle wrestling tournament on July 13.
