The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov flew over the city of Arkadag by helicopter, during which he inspected the progress of construction of the new city facilities and medical centers in the capital. This was reported on Monday by the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
During the flight towards the city of Arkadag, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the state of medical centers operating and under construction in the capital, as well as the state of affairs at construction sites. As noted, more than 70% of the completed construction work falls on social facilities.
From the helicopter, the National Leader inspected the buildings being erected within the city of Arkadag, the locations of production complexes that are part of the medical cluster, a carpet factory, and also got acquainted with the progress of preparations for the start of construction of the planned facilities.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the need for proper arrangement of all buildings, as well as improvement of adjacent territories to maintain a favorable ecological environment.
Particular attention was paid to the pace of construction of the mosque in the city of Arkadag, which, according to the National Leader, fully meets modern requirements for the quality and dynamics of construction.
Currently, the second stage of construction of the new city, which is being built according to the concept of a "smart city", is being carried out at an accelerated pace. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the new city meets high international standards in all respects, and its cultural and social buildings, industrial complexes and park areas form a single harmony.
The implementation of large-scale construction projects is carried out within the framework of the comprehensive transformation program and the National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052.
