President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov dismissed Deputy Prosecutor General of the country Begench Gurbangulyev from his post and appointed Muhammetmyrat Sapargulyev to this post, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The head of state signed the relevant decrees at a meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the results of the work of law enforcement agencies for the first six months of 2025.
"In accordance with Article 16 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On the Prosecutor's Office of Turkmenistan": Junior Justice Advisor Sapargulyev Muhammetmyrat Gurbanmyradovich has been appointed Deputy Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan, Head of the Main Department, and has been relieved of his post as Prosecutor of the Kopetdag Etrap of the city of Ashgabat; Justice Advisor Gurbangulyev Begench Yazmuhammedovich has been relieved of his post as Deputy Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan, Head of the Main Department," the statement says.
