President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent warm congratulations and best wishes to the Governor General of Canada Ms. Mary Simon and the people of the country on the occasion of the national holiday – Canada Day.
The head of the Turkmen state wished Governor General Mary Simon good health, happiness and well-being, and the people of Canada peace, further progress and prosperity, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
Canada Day is a holiday established in honor of the unification of three North American colonies of Britain into a single state of Canada on the basis of the British North America Act, which came into force on July 1, 1867.
