President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the Week of Culture held in the Ahal velayat.
In particular, the President's Address states:
“In the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, we provide broad opportunities for the creative work of cultural and artistic figures of the country, the creation of perfect works that meet the demands of the time, in the name of enriching our literature and art.
I am confident that the Culture Week in the Ahal velayat will be meaningful and rich in cultural events, and the concerts, creative meetings, poetry evenings, conferences, screenings of new films and performances held at this art festival will be interesting and impressive."
On the ancient Ahal land, which occupies a special place in the glorious history of the Turkmen people, there are a number of cultural and historical monuments, national and natural attractions.
These holy places are famous for such ancient cultural centers as Altyndepe - famous for the earliest settled culture, Anau - which preserved the ancient agricultural culture, the Parthian Kingdom - known for its peace-loving policy among the countries of the world for many centuries, as well as Paryzdepe, Shahrislam, Nisa, Abiverd and Serakhs. The figures on the rhytons of ancient Parthia demonstrate that a multifaceted social and everyday culture flourished in this land.
The scientific and literary heritage of famous scientists such as Nisayi, Abiverdi, Sarakhsy, Bagava, formed on this land, occupies a worthy place in the world treasury.
The ancient land of Ahal is the land that gave the world such masters of culture and art as Aman Gulmammedov, Bazar Amanov, Alty Garlyev, Baba Annanov, Myati Kosayev, Berdi Kerbabayev, Kerim Gurbannepesov, Berdinazar Hudaynazarov, Gurbannazar Ezizov, Gara Seyitliyev, Mammet Seyidov, Mylly Tachmyradov, Saha Jepbarov, Orazgeldi Ylyasov, Annaberdi Atdanov, Ovezgeldi Tekyaev.
“The creative and life path of our outstanding artists, bagshy, musicians and poets is especially important for cultivating love for national culture, art and literature in the hearts of the younger generation, for the wide popularization of their creative heritage,” concluded the head of state, wishing the participants of the Week of Culture good health, long life and creative success, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
