Türkiye’s national airlines are implementing strict measures to control passenger behavior during aircraft landings, the Akdeniz Gercek newspaper reported, citing an official document from the country's General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM).
Under the new rules, airlines will fine travelers who fail to follow basic safety rules. “Passengers who stand up immediately after landing, open overhead bins or ignore warnings from flight attendants may be subject to fines in accordance with applicable laws,” the official statement said.
