Turkmenistan has proposed that Kazakhstan consider the issue of increasing comprehensive cooperation between the ports of Turkmenbashy, Aktau and Kuryk on the Caspian Sea. This was stated by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

“In order to further create favorable transport and transit conditions, Hero-Arkadag also proposed considering the issue of increasing comprehensive cooperation between the ports of Turkmenbashy, Aktau and Kuryk on the Caspian Sea,” the statement said.
