The first plenary session of the international conference QACIS 2025, which will be held in Ashgabat under the motto “Quality Assurance in Accordance with International Standards in Turkmenistan”, will be devoted to the key topic: “The Relevance of Standards in the Digital Age”.The event will highlight the growing role of standards as a cornerstone of ensuring the quality, reliability and security of modern information systems in the context of the rapid development of IT technologies and global digital transformation.
The plenary session will be attended by authoritative representatives of international organizations and experts, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the President and Member of the Board of The Stirling Foundation (USA), the National Accreditation Committee (USA), CERT International (Slovakia) and the QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center (Kazakhstan), as well as high-ranking members of the Government of Turkmenistan.The wide international representation demonstrates the importance of the conference as a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing the role of standards in supporting the digital economy of various countries.
The plenary session will provide participants with a business space for an open dialogue on the importance of standards in the digital economy, familiarization with best global practices and development of recommendations for the further development of national standardization and quality assurance systems.
