Today, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Çalyk Holding Group of Companies Ahmet Çalyk, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Ahmet Çalyk informed about the construction work carried out by the company in Turkmenistan and expressed gratitude for the opportunities created for the implementation of important projects. He also congratulated the leadership and people of Turkmenistan on the holy month of Oraza and the upcoming holiday of Novruz.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that he was glad to see the Turkish businessman within the framework of the International Conference “International Year of Peace and Trust: the Role of Interregional Economic Cooperation in Ensuring Sustainable Development” held in the capital.
The parties discussed the significant role of international conferences and exhibitions in familiarizing with new achievements of science and technology, as well as in the development of trade and economic relations. It was emphasized that the socio-economic programs implemented in Turkmenistan and the favorable investment climate create opportunities for increasing cooperation.
It was noted that the Gap Inşaat company, part of Çalyk Holding, commissioned the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology and the International Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ashgabat in October 2024, which demonstrates the strengthening of relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that large-scale work within the framework of the Saglyk State Program contributes to the development of the healthcare sector in accordance with the best world practices, and expressed confidence that the Turkish company will continue to apply new technologies and innovative equipment in its activities.
At the end of the meeting, the parties wished each other good health, prosperity and success in their work.
