The New York Zoo is organizing an auction of works of art created by its inhabitants. The first works of talented animals have already appeared on social networks, snob.ru writes with reference to UPI.
The charity event will take place on March 15 and will present to the public a unique collection of paintings created by giraffes, penguins, capybaras, sloths and other animals.
According to the zoo staff, various creative approaches are used to create art works. For example, penguins are especially inspired to create when they are motivated by treats or playing with a laser pointer.
The organizers have provided the opportunity to participate in the auction not only for guests of the gala evening, but also for online buyers. All proceeds from the sale of paintings will be directed to the development of the zoo and improving the conditions of its inhabitants.
