1. On January 27, Turkmenistan celebrates the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland. On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated military personnel and employees of military and law enforcement agencies on the holiday, emphasizing their important role in protecting the independence and sovereignty of the country. The head of state noted that over the years of independence, the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan have turned into a powerful army, constantly equipped with modern weapons, military equipment and using the capabilities of digital systems.

2. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Republic of India Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of the national holiday - Republic Day. In his message, the head of state noted the high level and constructive nature of friendly cooperation between Turkmenistan and India, emphasizing its strengthening in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.

3. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia Samantha Mostyn on the occasion of the country's national holiday - Australia Day. In his message, the head of state expressed sincere wishes for good health and happiness to the Governor-General, as well as peace, further progress and prosperity to the people of Australia.

4. Employees of the Russian diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan visited Great Patriotic War veteran Antonina Pavlovna Pryanichnikova on her 97th birthday. During the war, she participated in the restoration of the railway destroyed by bombing near Stalingrad. During the war, Pryanichnikova lived in the city of Akhtubinsk near Stalingrad, where, together with other young people, she was engaged in repair and restoration work on the railway, which was regularly subjected to enemy bombing. In addition, she participated in extinguishing fires and providing assistance to the wounded.

5. The Turkish House in New York hosted a screening of a joint film by filmmakers from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, dedicated to the memory of the great thinker Magtymguly Fragi. The event, organized by TURKSOY, brought together many guests, including UN representatives and artists who starred in the film. Guests were able to get acquainted with the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world.

6. The British Embassy in Ashgabat for the first time organized a gala evening dedicated to celebrating the birthday of the outstanding Scottish poet Robert Burns. The event was attended by representatives of government departments of Turkmenistan, members of international organizations and diplomats. British Ambassador Stephen Conlon noted that the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi played a vital role in shaping the identity of the Turkmen people, and his legacy continues to inspire many generations. Likewise, Robert Burns has had a significant influence on Scottish culture and is a significant figure not only in Scotland but also beyond.

Turkmen MMA fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov presented PFL Vice President Kogan Mike and Senior Director of Operations Eduardo Cunha Lima with traditional Turkmen clothing items - “ichmek” and “tahya” skullcap. The athlete’s meeting with the PFL management took place as part of the PFL Road to Dubai tournament.

9. The Turkmenistan table tennis team went to the international tournament, which takes place in Doha from January 27 to 30. At this tournament, medals will be awarded in several age categories from U11 to U19. The strongest athletes from Asia, Arab countries and Europe will take part in the competition.
