The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has made important changes to the procedure for registering lease agreements on state property. Now the procedure for registering contracts, making changes to them and extending deadlines have become paid for all tenants, except for government agencies and enterprises.
According to the legal portal of Turkmenistan, the corresponding changes are enshrined in the order of the Minister of Finance and Economy No. 240-iş dated November 27, 2024. The document amends the current Procedure for registering lease agreements and gratuitous use (loans) of state property, which was approved in January 2020.
The innovation was developed in accordance with Article 30 of the Law of Turkmenistan “On Legal Acts” and Article 38 of the Law “On Enterprises”.
