Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov has joined the University Alliance of the Silk Road. This was reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The accession of the Turkmen university to the Alliance is of great importance for establishing and developing international ties, strengthening friendly relations, scientific, educational and cultural cooperation with leading universities of member countries, as well as studying and implementing the best practices of foreign partners.
The Alliance of Universities of the Silk Road is a non-governmental non-profit organization aimed at developing international cooperation in the field of higher education.
It was created in 2015 as part of the foreign policy initiative of the People’s Republic of China “One Belt, One Road” and unites about 170 universities.
As a global and effective educational platform, the Alliance promotes regional openness and broad interaction between universities from countries and regions.
