The Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports has become a member of the International Association of Universities of Physical Education and Sports.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the corresponding certificate was solemnly presented by the head of the Association K. Zakiryanov to the chairman of the student sports club of the institute and the secretary general of the National Federation of Student Sports of Turkmenistan S. Gurdov.
The decision on the membership of the sports university of Turkmenistan was made on December 18 in Almaty during the regular meeting of the Association, which was also attended by delegates of the Turkmen university.
The activities of the International Association of Universities of Physical Education and Sports are aimed at improving education in the field of physical education and sports, updating curricula in universities around the world, exchanging experiences and stimulating scientific research.
The accession of the Turkmen institute to the Association is important for the effective study of advanced world experience.
