A high-level meeting of the Group of Friends of Neutrality for Peace, Security and Sustainable Development was held today in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the meeting was attended by representatives of the countries participating in the Group, including heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan abroad.
The participants emphasized the effectiveness of the Group, as evidenced by its consistent expansion.
The parties reviewed the development of a Global Security Strategy based on the principles of the UN Charter and generally recognized norms of international law.
The participants agreed to continue implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through the integration of the principles of neutrality into national and international strategies, the source notes.
