On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Turkmenistan Jesper War, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
At the meeting, the head of the national parliament, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, congratulated the diplomat on his appointment, expressing confidence in the further strengthening of friendly ties and cooperation between the two countries.
During the conversation, the directions of the Turkmen-Danish partnership were discussed, including inter-parliamentary interaction and cooperation at the sites of international organizations. The Ambassador noted the importance of Turkmenistan’s dialogue with the European Union and expressed readiness to actively contribute to strengthening bilateral relations.
