The 2024 Nobel Peace Prize ceremony took place in Oslo, Norway. The 92-year-old co-chairman of "Nihon Hidanke", Terumi Tanaka, called on the international community to unite to eliminate nuclear weapons as quickly as possible. The organization, founded in 1956, has consistently sent resolutions and appeals to the UN, advocating a complete ban on nuclear weapons.
