1. 276 people convicted in Turkmenistan for crimes committed, but regretting their actions and sincerely repenting of them, were pardoned by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The corresponding Decree was signed at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of heads of diplomatic missions abroad and in international organizations. The pardoned were released from further serving the main sentence in the form of imprisonment.

2. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the Jubilee Medal of Turkmenistan "In Honor of the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi" and a set of commemorative signs. The corresponding resolution was adopted by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan on the basis of Article 81 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan. The ceremony of presenting the Jubilee Medal to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took place on Monday following an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in the “Oguzhan” Palace Complex.

3. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on awarding members of the Government with a jubilee medal and commemorative signs in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the classic Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi. Among those awarded are the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as heads of the country's military and law enforcement agencies.

4. UN Assistant Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions Alexander Zuyev arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the International Conference "Joint Efforts to Strengthen International Peace and Sustainable Development" and other events in honor of the International Day of Neutrality. On Monday, he met with Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

5. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution on financial issues of the country's diplomatic service. The document was signed "in order to improve the work of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan in foreign countries."

6. Microsoft co-founder and former CEO Bill Gates has expressed concerns that modern gadgets and social media may be limiting the development of deep thinking in the younger generation. Gates doubts that he would have become a billionaire if he had grown up like modern children, distracted by smartphones. 7. Animal rights organization PETA has slammed the film “Nosferatu”, accusing Robert Eggers of slandering rats. Animal rights activists are outraged by the director's new film's erroneous depiction of these animals as carriers of the plague. In their opinion, such stereotypes are not only unfair, but also deprive viewers of the opportunity to see rats as they really are: intelligent, sociable, and loyal creatures.

8. Turkmen athlete Bunyad Rashidov won a silver medal in the snatch at the World Weightlifting Championships in Manama. He achieved this success in the 73 kg weight category, in which 26 weightlifters competed for the awards. Rashidov lifted 154 kg in the snatch. However, he showed the 16th result in the clean and jerk and ultimately took 15th place. Hyun Ri Ryong from the DPRK became the world champion with a result of 349 kg in the double-event.

9. “Arkadag” footballers beat “Altyn Asyr” 4-0 away in a rescheduled match of the 27th round of the Turkmenistan Championship. “Arkadag” finished the season in the Turkmenistan Championship with a 100% result for the second year in a row. Vladimir Bayramov's team did not lose a single match in the domestic championship. The team still has a chance for two more titles - the Turkmenistan Cup and the AFC Challenge League. “Ahal” took second place in the Turkmenistan Championship one round before the finish, and “Altyn Asyr” came in third.
