The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the third meeting of the High-Level Group within the regional project DARYA (Dialogue and Action for Resourceful Youth in Central Asia), which was held in Tashkent. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The event was organized by the European Training Foundation (ETF) with the support of the European Union.
The meeting brought together deputy ministers of education and labor from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the EU, international organizations and other stakeholders.
Turkmenistan was represented at the event by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, an employee of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan and specialists from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The key achievements of the DARYA project, as well as prospects for increasing sustainability through educational and vocational programs, were discussed during the event. Particular attention was paid to such topics as developing skills that meet labor market requirements, supporting inclusive and sustainable education, and introducing flexible qualification systems.
The participants emphasized the importance of intergovernmental dialogue and coordinated work to ensure sustainable development of the region. Strategic recommendations were presented that will form the basis for further initiatives within the DARYA project.
The event became an important platform for exchanging experiences, strengthening cooperation and strategic planning in the field of education and professional development in Central Asia.
