At the regular meeting of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, held on November 16 under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, the draft «Regulations on the clubs of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in Turkmenistan» was reviewed and approved.
The Minister of Justice of Turkmenistan M. Taganov, speaking about the importance of developing the legal basis for UNESCO clubs, noted the need to strengthen the regulatory framework regarding the activities of UNESCO clubs, systematization of relations between the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO and UNESCO clubs in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
In this regard, the participants reviewed and approved the draft Regulations on the clubs of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in Turkmenistan.
It is symbolic that the meeting was held on the day of the formation of UNESCO: 79 years ago, on November 16, 1945, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was created.
