President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov successfully completed his working visit to Kazan, where he took part in the 16th BRICS summit. During the visit, he met with the head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who solemnly presented him with the Order of “Duslyk” for his contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation. This was reported by the news program “Vatan” of Turkmen television.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov also met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, discussing prospects for further cooperation. On the second day of the visit, the President of Turkmenistan addressed the plenary session of the BRICS summit in the “outreach” / “BRICS Plus” format, putting forward a number of initiatives.
After the visit, the plane of the President of Turkmenistan landed at the Ashgabat International Airport, where he was met by officials and members of the government, congratulating him on the successful completion of the trip.
