President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping sent a letter to the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the congratulatory message on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. This is stated in the TDH report.
In his letter, Xi Jinping noted the importance of bilateral relations between China and Turkmenistan, emphasizing the fruitful meeting held last year within the framework of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, where important agreements on comprehensive cooperation were reached and new plans for the development of bilateral relations were outlined.
Xi Jinping also expressed readiness to continue joint efforts to promote cooperation in energy and other areas, as well as to build a Community of Shared Future for China and Turkmenistan. In conclusion of the letter, he wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov good health and well-being, and Turkmenistan progress and prosperity.
