Turkmen teachers study the experience of the University of Tsukuba in Japan

Since October 5, teachers from the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan have been on a working visit to Japan to learn about the experience of the University of Tsukuba.

The visit of the Turkmen delegation will last until December 22, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

This visit is taking place within the framework of the third stage of the training course “Improving the Methodology of Teaching Engineering Disciplines”, organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

During the visit, Turkmen teachers will get acquainted with the experience of the Japanese university in the field of engineering education, the construction and improvement of curricula and programs, and scientific research in relevant areas. Joint research work is also planned on the basis of the university's laboratories and the study of the stages of introducing advanced technologies into production.

Under the guidance of professors from the University of Tsukuba, Turkmen teachers are improving their professional skills in scientific research work.

Thus, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages in Technical Areas Lachyn Gurdova is engaged in research in the field of humanities and social sciences. Lecturers of the Department of Nano- and Biomedical Electronics and the Department of Chemical Technology Mekan Toyjanov and Enejan Dovranova conduct research in the laboratory of semiconductor materials production. Lecturer of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology Mahrijemal Annamuradova conducts scientific work in the laboratory of food engineering.

The University of Tsukuba is located in the city of the same name in Japan, its history is about 130 years old. The university is one of the nine leading national universities and is recognized by the Japanese government as one of the best within the framework of the Top Global University Project. The university has accumulated colossal experience in the field of scientific research and training of high-class specialists in the areas of fundamental sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine, the source notes.
