1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Atahalliyev and velayat governors, where they discussed the implementation of the National Rural Program and the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns. The President ordered to accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting in order to complete the campaign in the optimal time frame. Deputy Prime Minister Atahalliyev reported on the current state of the agricultural sector, noting that every effort is being made to ensure the uninterrupted reception of cotton and the operation of agricultural machinery.

2. National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed strengthening bilateral relations and summed up the results of the international conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi. The President of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude for the invitation to the forum and the awarding of the jubilee medal “For the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi”, emphasizing the importance of the poet's work for strengthening friendly ties between peoples.

3. On October 16, Ashgabat will host the 13th meeting of the Turkmen-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Partnership. The meeting will discuss a wide range of issues, including trade, economic and investment cooperation, prospects for cooperation in energy, water resources, agriculture, transport and logistics, as well as in the fields of education, science, medicine, culture and sports.

4. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Hellenic Republic Toyly Komekov presented his credentials to President Katerina Sakellaropoulou. The presentation ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Athens. The Ambassador conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

5. The second meeting of the speakers of the parliaments of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea was held in Ashgabat. The participants discussed strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, which is an important tool for maintaining productive dialogue and mutual understanding between the countries.

During his working visit to the capital of Turkmenistan, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the Magtymguly Fragi cultural and park complex, where he laid flowers at the monument to the Armenian poet Sayat-Nova. During the visit, the Armenian President also visited the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet, where he got acquainted with a rich collection of 8000 exhibits. Particular attention was paid to unique items, including the smallest carpet in the form of a key holder and the largest, with an area of 301 square meters, listed in the Guinness World Records.

7. The tour of the State Russian Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin in the Balkan velayat was successful. As part of the tour, the theater performed for the first time in the urban-type settlement of Hazar. For three days, the fairy tale “The Three Little Pigs and the Gray Wolf” and the dramatic production “Sisters” were shown in Hazar. Schools and kindergartens became a kind of venue for the performances. The concert “Muse of Love”, which included song and dance numbers and humorous scenes, aroused particular interest among the audience.

8. A large-scale auction dedicated to the cult TV series “Game of Thrones” was held in Dallas. The organizer was the auction house Heritage, which presented more than 900 lots with authentic props from the series. The main event of the auction was the sale of the Iron Throne - a symbol of power over the Seven Kingdoms. After six minutes of bidding, a copy of the throne, made of plastic and covered with metallic paint with precious stones, was sold for an impressive sum of 1,49 million dollars. It is worth noting that the original throne, which appeared in the series, was destroyed in the final episode.

9. The Turkmenistan national futsal team has been placed in the second basket before the draw for the Women's Asian Cup qualification tournament. The Turkmen team will find out their group opponents on October 17. The qualifying matches will be held from January 11 to 19, and the nine teams that took first and second place in the groups, as well as the best team that took third place, will advance to the final round, which will be held in China in May 2025.
