Today, the two-day working visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Russian Federation began with the purpose of participating in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, held in Moscow.
As reported by TDH, the presidential airliner landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo-2 airport, where the head of Turkmenistan was met by officials.
From the airport, Serdar Berdimuhamedov proceeded to the residence allocated for the visit.
The participation of the head of Turkmenistan in the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS on October 8 is another clear confirmation of the country’s commitment to an equal constructive dialogue in the Commonwealth format, the focus on further building up a fruitful partnership that meets the interests of common well-being, the source notes.
