Mary Yongai, 26 years old makeup artist from Sierra Leone set a new world record. In 24 hours, she completed 111 makeup, surpassing the previous achievement of 19 years ago. The Guinness World Records officially recorded this achievement, reports Snob.ru.
The previous record belonged to the Indonesian Marta Tilaar, who made 96 make -ups. To recognize the record, Yongai was supposed to follow strict rules. Each makeup included the use of the base, concealer, blush or bronzer, at least two shades of shadows, eye eyeliner, carcass, lipstick or shine, lip pencil and finish powder.
Initially, Yongai planned to reach 100 works, but managed to surpass her goal. During the day, she permitted herself only one 20-minute break, refusing food, drinks and even visiting the toilet.
Preparation for this marathon was intense. Yongai trained in sisters and friends, improving her speed. A trial eight -hour session, during which she completed 48 makeup, helped her evaluate her capabilities.
