In September, the picturesque island of Bozcaada in the Aegean Sea will host the annual Grape Harvest Festival, continuing the centuries-old winemaking tradition of the region. With roots in antiquity, this event offers visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the island's rich wine culture, which dates back over 3000 years.

The festival includes a varied program: from symbolic harvests in local vineyards to tastings of wines produced from endemic grape varieties such as Kuntra, Karalahna, Chavush and Vasilaki. Guests can take part in 2-hour vineyard tours organized by the Bozcaada Winegrowers' Cooperative, enjoy live music and learn about the winemaking process.

In addition to the wine events, festival-goers will be able to explore the island's attractions, including Bozcaada Castle, Ayazma Monastery and the Church of the Virgin Mary. The island's gastronomic scene also promises an unforgettable experience, offering the freshest seafood and local specialties.

The Bozcaada Vintage Festival not only celebrates the island's rich wine heritage, but also provides a unique opportunity to experience its culture, nature and cuisine, making it an attractive event for tourists and wine lovers from all over the world.
