In Serbia, it is planned to build a museum dedicated to the famous tennis player Novak Djokovic. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced this. According to him, the project is at the preparation stage and its implementation will begin soon.

Recently, 37-year-old Djokovic won the Olympic tennis tournament in Paris, beating Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the final. This victory made him the oldest Olympic men's singles champion since 1988. Vucic stressed that the museum will not only be a tribute to Djokovic's achievements, but will also attract additional tourists to the country. The President noted that the popularity of the Serbian tennis player extends far beyond Serbia, all the way to China, where his racket is considered a valuable gift.

Novak Djokovic, ranked second in the world, has 99 Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) titles and a record 24 Grand Slam victories. He became the third tennis player after Andre Agassi and Rafael Nadal to win the career “Golden Slam”. Djokovic is also a seven-time winner of the ATP Finals and the 2010 Davis Cup winner.
